Vegan Oreo Tiramisu Recipe

Ingredients

For Oreo Layers:

  • 4 packs of Oreo cookies
  • 1 mug of brewed espresso (or plant-based milk for a non-caffeinated option)

For the Mascarpone Cream:

  • 250g dairy-free block butter (softened)
  • 420g icing sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 80g dairy-free vanilla yogurt
  • 4 Oreo cookies (blended into fine crumbs)

For Cream Decoration:

  • 100ml dairy-free whipping cream (like Elmlea Plant-based Double Cream)
  • Extra Oreos, crushed (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Espresso-Dipped Oreo Layers:

  • Brew espresso and allow it to cool completely.
  • Dip each Oreo quickly (1–2 seconds max) into the espresso so it doesn’t go mushy.
  • Arrange a layer of dipped Oreos at the bottom of a 10×9 inch dish.

2. Make the Vegan Oreo Mascarpone Cream:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened vegan butter until pale (about 5–8 minutes).
  • Blitz 4 Oreos into crumbs and add to the butter.
  • Sift in icing sugar, add vanilla bean paste and yogurt. Whip everything until thick and fluffy (about 5 minutes).

3. Assemble the Tiramisu:

  • Spread or pipe a thick layer of Oreo mascarpone cream over the Oreo base.
  • Sprinkle some crushed Oreos.
  • Repeat with another layer of espresso-dipped Oreos and mascarpone cream.
  • End with a final mascarpone layer on top.

4. Decorate and Chill:

  • Whip vegan cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Pipe stars or swirls on top using a piping bag.
  • Finish with a sprinkle of crushed Oreos.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
